Practical ways to successfully managing pupils with ADHD
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is the term used to describe a spectrum of learning and behaviour differences. This presentation will outline a range of strategies for teaching and managing children and young people who have ADHD within inclusive settings.
About the Speaker:
Fin O’Regan MA, PGCE BSc is one of the leading behaviour and learning experts in the UK and Europe. He was the Headteacher of the Centre Academy from 1996 -2002 which was the first specialist school in the UK for students between the ages of 7-19 specialising issues related to ADHD, ASD and Oppositional Defiant Disorder. He is currently a Behaviour and Learning Consultant and Trainer for a number of educational organisations both nationally and internationally. He is an associate lecturer for Leicester University, the National Association of Special Needs, the Institute of Education, the Helen Arkell Dyslexia Centre and Vice Chairman of the UK ADHD Network. He has written 10 books and numerous published articles on the subject of ADHD, ODD, Behaviour and Learning issues.
